ABOUT

The seed was sown in late 2016 and progress had been slow but steady. Many groups were keen to form a community hub and help bring services back to the community, for people without transport and who are experiencing difficulties.

The community continue to  work together to bring about a real social impact in Kinross and the Hub is the beginning of that.

We are hopeful that the Hub will now grow to offer the community the support it needs. Beginning with Social Prescribing, Drug and Alcohol support, welfare rights and Universal credit support, we hope the Hub develops to support our community.

We are now open at Loch Leven Health Centre Thursday 9.30am - 12pm and Fridays 10am  - 12pm.

Broke Not Broken is a grassroots community charity and was set up in 2014 as a committee but went on to become a charity in 2015.  The charity worked extremely hard over the years to provide an excellent service for the community. Broke Not Broken is not only a foodbank but has developed a community garden, run many projects and has an annual Christmas hamper event providing hampers to many families and elderly in the community.  Finding the best to tackle poverty in very practical ways whilst always showing empathy and compassions.
